Announcing the next Fast Fwd Summit in NYC!

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all doing well and your week has been off to a great start. You may have noticed that this email looks a little different than my usual ones. I’m trialing a new platform for the MaddiStrokeOfLuck Community and newsletter to see if it is better and more cost-effective. Anywayssssss….

Things have been super busy over here as per usual. Last month I walked the runway for New York Fashion Week, and this month has been insane already with travels to Palo Alto, San Jose, Pacific Grove, and Monterey for a board of directors meeting. Earlier this week I traveled to Charlotte to deliver a keynote speech at Atrium Health Rehabilitation Hospital on the topic of human-centered design and the patient hospital experience. I believe someone filmed my presentation, so more to share on that soon when I get the video.

I’m back home in the city for a week now before heading out to Chicago for work (sidenote if any of you are in the Chicago area please hit me up, I’ll be arriving on the 20th and would love to connect). Since I finally have a few days sans presentation stress, I thought I’d take this time to formally announce the date for next year’s Fast Fwd Summit in NYC!

In case you missed it, earlier this year I organized two summits in NY and LA to connect the stroke survivor community. Got tons of positive feedback, so much that I’ve been working hard to get some lined up for 2025!

Fast Fwd - NYC will officially be April 25, 2025 in New York City! So save the date, I’ll be sharing a registration landing page for the summit within the next month or so.

It was amazing to meet so many fellow survivors and share stories at the New York City and Los Angeles Fast Fwd Summits. Connection and support is everything in the recovery journey. In fact, I actually have another book idea in mind, and am looking to interview other stroke survivors and caregivers. So if you’d like to be interviewed, please just respond to this email and let me know. :)

Looking forward to hopefully seeing you all in April for the next Fast Fwd Summit. This one will be bigger and have some changes to the agenda. So if you attended a summit this year, just know that next year’s will not be the exact same thing. New format, fresh content and topics for discussion. More to come on that, stay tuned.
